A pleasant afternoon to you. How do you do? On today's post, knowledge is said to be appealing. Here's why... Sound knowledge is a venture not everyone is willing to invest in . Knowledge, they say is power, but what are you willing to pay for its acquisition? Everyone, or rather, majority of folks love to be associated with individuals who are vast and deep versed. However, we fail to make enquiries as to how such a feat was acquired. We would rather appreciate the outcome, than emulate the means. Recently, I confided in a friend my inability to prepare 'starch', a native meal of my motherland. He did well to remind me of the wealth of knowledge embedded in Google. Shamefacedly, I promised myself to look up the recipe for the meal. Don't ask if I have looked it up. How many opportunities to accumulate knowledge have we passed up? Having a good day, dear ones? I crave your indulgence as I introduce today's message. Growing up in the 90's afforded me the opportunity of listening to a great variety of music. Birthday parties, school parties and almost every occasion was agog with peculiar genres of music which we danced to. However, over time some of these legends either passed on or fizzled out and didn't find music marketable enough, thereby handing the reins to the younger artistes who littered virtually every city. Likewise, I faintly recall using coins as a medium of exchange. What became of this metal piece is still unbeknownst to me. Whilst growing up, I was told 5 naira used to be someone's paycheck. Several weddings and events were postponed. Some organizations took to the social web in order to keep relevant. Kudos to them. Church halls reverberated with long silence.
