Hello there,🙂

How has the month been?🤔

Hope you still remember to catch your breath?

I crave your attention as we delve into today's tidbit.


Recently, I read through Matthew 14:25-33 with a group of friends and what stood out for me was simply:

BIG MOVES DON'T ALWAYS PROVE GREAT FAITH.

You see that man named Peter, he deserves additional respect from us.

We're always too hasty to jump on him for shifting his gaze from Jesus for a bit.


How about the other disciples who sat in the boat and watched all these transpire?

Have you tried speculating what was going on through their minds?

 


Peter stepped out of the boat. He was the only one who did.

We mustn't judge Peter whilst we're still seated in the boat.


As for me, I'd rather step onto the water with Christ than spend the rest of my life wondering "what if" I had stepped out like my friend, Peter. 


A few of the disciples had families, yeah? Just imagine them having a family time and the kids inquire of why their father never stepped into the water like Big Uncle Pete?

Apparently, they must have heard the tales and wondered whether timidity was a thing to their father. 


To conclude, are you seated somewhere trying to judge the genius activities of your pals? Weren't you also given something to do too?

Why not step out of the boat and see how far God takes you? Abi do you want to live the rest of your life with "what ifs"?

    This is so amazing. In today's world where we wait for popular opinion before we do anything including the one Jesus sent us to do.... May God help us.... Big Uncle Pete has shown us that one with Jesus is majority

Growing Up: A Scam

Hiya! A pleasant day it is, ain't it? How has it been at your end? I hope you still remember to smile and cut yourself some slack? Today's topic resonates with many of us. Very recently, I clocked a year. Prior to this, I'd always believed growing up to be a scam. I'm glad to point out that this is quietly changing. Nonetheless, that doesn't excuse society for making demands of me before I was prepared. I was told to go to school and gain an education. All glory to God, I passed through the primary, secondary and the so-much talked about tertiary institution. Along the way, I was told when I grow up, the jigsaw puzzle would somehow fit. A pleasant afternoon to you. How do you do? On today's post, knowledge is said to be appealing. Here's why... Sound knowledge is a venture not everyone is willing to invest in . Knowledge, they say is power, but what are you willing to pay for its acquisition? Everyone, or rather, majority of folks love to be associated with individuals who are vast and deep versed. However, we fail to make enquiries as to how such a feat was acquired. We would rather appreciate the outcome, than emulate the means. Recently, I confided in a friend my inability to prepare 'starch', a native meal of my motherland. He did well to remind me of the wealth of knowledge embedded in Google.
