Checks and Balances

Hello there,

How are you? 🌝

How has December🎄 been at your end?

💼

Some time ago, we spoke about workplace liars.

Recently, I goofed.

Let me give an account of how.

A superior at work needed to convey a delicate message to a colleague and chose me as her mouthpiece. She didn't want to pick on the colleague in question so needed an incognito.

Well, having heard the statement, I decided to do something about the information disclosed.

The following day, I got talking with another colleague with whom I narrated the previous day's occurrence, and boom, He asked a pertinent question. "Faith, wasn't that you being untruthful?"

I shrugged it off as it hadn't occurred to me that I had done something unjust. However, the soft nudge in my heart didn't let me be.

I quietly spoke to Abba who always hears.

Have you ever been in such a position? What did you do?

Do you have people or anyone who can serve as checks and balances around you? More so, how sensitive are you?

If you find yourself in such a situation, can you please not gloat and rather, confide in the ready arms of Abba?

Remember, we won't continue to sin 'cause grace doth abide.

May God help us all.

  1. Bless you for this piece. Everywhere I go, God has helped me to find a community of believers to check and balance my trivial excesses.

It is an advice I would give to anyone.

    God bless your friend, Faith.
